After studying the work of his favorite filmmakers at a young age (Kubrick, Fellini, Gilliam, Lynch, Truffaut, Godard, etc.), Nicholas Pallos began writing his first screenplay in high school. 

Later honing his skills at both Wayne State University and the University of Michigan, Nicholas focused on creative writing and screenwriting as a major.  Interested in getting his hands on a camera, he later joined the Detroit Filmmaker’s Coalition, where he made his first 16mm short film. 

After leaving Detroit for Los Angeles, Nicholas quickly found a position working for producers Tracie Graham & Alison Rosenzweig (WINDTALKERS).  While in this position, he was able to work with Nicolas Cage, John Woo, & Christian Slater, among others.

Nicholas went on to sell his first feature-length screenplay (SHADOWPLAY), act in a Bill Pullman/Taryn Manning film (YOUR NAME HERE), and write & direct a short film (NEITHER HERE NOR THERE - The Waiting Room) which has been chosen as an official selection of the Santa Cruz Film Festival, the East Lansing Film Festival, the Vine Film Festival, and won the Gold Kahuna Award at the Honolulu International Film Festival.
